7 Aldi Snacks Worth Buying

I’ve been shopping at Aldi for a while now, and I’ve found that their snack selection is pretty solid. I like that I can grab a few things to toss in my lunch or have on hand for a quick pick-me-up. As we head into Spring, I’m looking for snacks that are easy to take on the go, whether that’s to the park or just to my backyard for a quick lunch break.

My Top Picks

I’ve tried a lot of Aldi’s snack options, and there are a few that I come back to again and again. Here are some of my favorites:

  • Dark Chocolate Bars: These are a staple in my household. They’re rich, not too sweet, and a great price at around $2 per bar.
  • Roasted Chickpeas: I like these as a crunchy snack, and they’re a good source of protein to keep me full. A 5-ounce bag costs around $2.50.
  • Dried Fruit: Aldi has a great selection of dried fruit, including apricots, cranberries, and raisins. I like to mix these with some nuts for a quick and easy trail mix.

Snacks for On-the-Go

As the weather warms up, I’m looking for snacks that are easy to take with me when I’m out and about. Aldi has some great options for this:

  • Energy Balls: These are no-bake bites made with oats, nuts, and dried fruit. They’re easy to make at home, but Aldi also sells them pre-made for around $3 per pack.
  • Jerky: I like beef or turkey jerky as a protein-rich snack that’s easy to toss in my bag. Aldi’s brand is around $4 per pack, which is a good price compared to other brands.

Tips for Shopping at Aldi

I’ve found that shopping at Aldi can be a bit of a learning curve, but here are some tips that have helped me:

  • Bring your own bags: Aldi doesn’t provide free bags, so it’s a good idea to bring your own reusable bags to carry your groceries in.
  • Shop the sales: Aldi’s prices are already low, but they also have weekly sales on certain items. I like to check the weekly ad to see what’s on sale and plan my shopping trip around that.
  • Don’t be afraid to try new things: Aldi’s store brand products are often just as good as name-brand products, and they’re usually cheaper. I’ve found some great new products by trying out Aldi’s store brand options.

If you’re trying to make your kitchen or dining space feel a bit more put-together, I’ve been into art prints lately — there’s a solid collection of landscape and abstract prints at Printsofprint on Etsy if you want to browse. What are some of your favorite snacks to take on the go?
